Broad-headed Snake

Common Name : Broad-headed Snake

Scientific Name : Hoplocephalus bungaroides

Habitat :
Occurs in sandstone habitats in dry sclerophyll forests.

Diet :
Eats mainly lizards and other snakes.

Size :
It can grow to 1m but 750mm is fairly big.

Danger :

People take the bush rocks away to decorate their gardens and leave nowhere for the Broad-headed snake to hide.
