Common Name : Red-tailed Phascogale

Scientific Name : Phascogale calura

Habitat :
Temperate eucalypt forests in the south-west of Western Australia.

Diet :
It eats small mammals and birds and also insects and spiders.

Size :
The maximum length is 270mm with 145mm of this being the tail.

Danger :

Foxes, cats, changed fire regimes and farming activities have been the problems.
