Common Name : Dibbler

Scientific Name : Parantechinus apicalis

Habitat :
It lives in low Banksia heath on sand in the sout west of Western Australia.

Diet :
Eats a variety of small invertebrates and also nectar from flowers.

Size :
It grows to a maximum of 145mm plus a tail of 115mm. It weighs about 100grams.

Danger :

Farmers clearing land and introduced cats and foxes have all been problems.
