Healthy Harold comes to visit
ELANORA HEIGHTS PRIMARY SCHOOL

in the Life Education Centre caravan.

The bit that we liked was at the very beginning when Healthy Harold was going out to visit his sick friend possum. He had this big bag full of things that might help him get better.
In that bag he had a lemon, an orange, a hot water bottle, and a flannel. We had a lovely time there.

James And Peter liked the bit when Healthy Harold came out of his house.

Today we (2B) went to see Healthy Harold.
We saw a movie about a Martian. He was interested in how we grow food. He was gray, had one eye and green hair that shot up.

This week each class gets a turn to go and visit Healthy Harold.
Today my class went to Healthy Harold. We saw a skeleton. Its name was Tam. Tam is a model of a skeleton. It showed the whole Human body. The body lights up. There is a control pad.

I liked the part when the lady showed us the heart.

body systems when you push a button.
There was a skeleton that went dark and bright next to the T.V. and the lady controlled the skeleton.

I liked the Martian that talked about different foods on planet Earth.

Brain
Carpet Kid

Carpet kid is not real. He is on the wall. We stuck a heart on him and ribs and lungs and brain and little intestines and big intestines. Carpet kid is carpet just drawn as a boy.

My name is Joel. I went to Healthy Harold and the Martian kept on asking questions and a brain kept on answering them. Every question the Martian asked the brain would answer.

At Healthy Harold we sorted out some food into groups - from the ground, animals and mixed foods.
The ground foods were water, apple, cucumber, pumkin, strawberries and rice.
The foods that come from the animals are fish, milk, cheese and meat.
Also we sorted out mixed foods and they were mars bars, cereal and two others that I can not remember.
